Okay, so I will tell you everything. Basically I'm lopsided. The bones in my neck and also in my lower back are not in the places that they are suppose to be so it's hurting the nerves and the veins and the discs. So I started a new chiropracter who really great. He is going to fix me in 12 visits. Well actually, he can't fix me completely so he is starting to fix me to take away the pain long enough for me to last my mission and then I'll have to come home and keep going to the chiropracter for a while. But seriously, I'm starting to feel so much better. Yesterday I didn't feel any pain at all and I thought something was wrong with me but then I realized that it was just that I felt so good. I have 10 more times at the chiropracter. I go 3 times a week for a month and I know I will feel great. Actually, it's really intense and really aggressive and he makes me breathe after because I always feel like I'm going to faint because my neck is so bad and he cracks it so hard. But I really feel great. Anyway, send me pictures of everything this next week! I hope christmas is really great and don't worry about me. I'm sooo happy to be here! I love you!
This is her regular letter:
Hi family!! Feliz Navidad de San Juan de Miraflores! So last Tuesday the assistants called and said that I had a cambio de emergencia but like in reality I already knew that I was going to be changed. So I'm here in San Juan and I love it. Hna bailey, trejo and mendez served in this area and the ward is great. My comp is Hna Chavez from Chihuahua, Mexico! She is so great and speaks English perfectly because she went to high school in Texas. But we just speak spanish because it's easier. So anyway, her parents are mission presidents in the mission Mexico, Chihuahua and we just have a lot of fun together. This ward is amazing. I have never been in a really functioning ward on my mission yet and I always heard that the wards in Lima are awesome. And they are! Also, our ward building is the center for insitute and so it is HUGE and so pretty. This area is mostly completely flat and I was so excited until I found out that we live on the 5th floor of an apartment building.....with no elevator. But it's a good workout I guess.
I sent home a package for Christmas like 2 weeks ago too.....we will see when it gets to you guys...if it ever does. This past week we had a Christmas Multizona with President and his family and it was really fun. We had a white elephant exchange and all I got was soap and toothpaste and oreos but I gave the best plastic chicken that is seriously so annoying but everyone loved it. Also, we watched the movie Gifted Hands. If you havent seen it, find it and watch it. It's so good! This past Saturday we found a family and taught them and they were really excited to learn so we invited them to thw ward activity that night for christmas and they came and then they came the church yesterday. There names are Jonathen and Carmen and they have too little boys that are so cute. I have so much hope for them. I really feel like they are going to progress. We have some really great people here. Also hna mendez and hna guzman are in this ward too but they work only in Family History and all Sundays and Mondays they do divisions with us and it's so fun! It's like hna Mendez and I are comps again.
Anyway, we are at some members house right now and they are giving us manicure and doing our hair and stuff....I'm not really sure why but I am NOT complaining. Also I got my Christmas package and I couldn't wait so every night I open one from the stocking....hahhaha, don't be mad. But anyway, I love you all so much!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS! Remember what this season really is about. I'm so happy to be on the mission this Christmas and to give Jesus my life this Christmas. He is my Savior and Redeemer. God gave us an amazing gift, who is Jesus. How are we going to accept it this year??
